Using River City Music's songs for worship
We are really glad you want to use our songs in worship. We've tried to provide practical, affordable permissions for the most common use-cases. If your situation is not listed, please contact us.
I want to project the lyrics
River City Music provides permissions for this through CCLI. With the very affordable CCLI license, your church gets access to a library of nearly 200,000 Christian songs including the River City Music songs. Download lyrics from our Songs page, and with the CCLI license you can project them in your worship services.
I want to print the song or lyrics in a bulletin or booklet
River City Music provides permissions for this through CCLI. With the very affordable CCLI license, your church gets access to a library of nearly 200,000 Christian songs including the River City Music songs. Purchase sheet music from our Sheetmusic Store, and with the CCLI license you can photocopy it into bound booklets or single-use bulletins.
I want to sing with a small worship group or home-group and we don't have a CCLI license
No problem. Just go to our Sheetmusic Store and purchase as many copies as you need. Please keep in mind that this does not give you permission to photocopy. For that, you will need a CCLI license through your church.
I want to have my worship band and/or choir sing a song worship service but we're not projecting lyrics or making songsheets
The best way to cover this is through the permissions we make available via CCLI -- see above under "I want to project the lyrics" for an explanation of the CCLI license. But if you aren't quite ready to get a CCLI license for this, we don't want to make it a roadblock. The solution is for you to purchase as many copies as you need for your band members or choir from our Sheetmusic Store. You won't be allowed to photocopy or make lyrics sheets, but if you need more copies you can always go back to the Sheetmusic Store and purchase what you need.
I'm in a country that isn't covered by the CCLI license
This is a work-in-progress right now. Please just get in touch with us and let us know what you need. We want to make it work for you.
I have a different situation than you've covered here.
OK. Sorry we didn't anticipate it. Please get in touch via email and we can try to work something out. Contact Geoff at geoff.fawcett@gmail.com.
